DIY Workshop
Bela and PureData

Program your own module using Bela and PureData

Bela (http://bela.io) is a high-performance embedded platform for creating interactive audio systems. Bela Modular packs Bela’s ultra-low-latency, high-resolution analog I/Os and browser-based IDE into a Eurorack module. In this workshop you will learn how to program your own modules using the graphical language PureData (Pd). No previous programming experience needed. Participants will work in pairs and you should bring your own laptop (at least one per pair).

The module can work on its own, however it has plenty of connections to interface to other modules, so feel free to bring your rack!
It needs an Eurorack PSU +/-12V. We will provide 6 PSUs (for 12 participants), however if you can bring your own, we will then be able to host more people (hard limit 20 participants).

Given the non-trivial logistic, we would like to be put in touch with participants as they
subscribe. If you booked your ticket, please then send an email to Giulio Moro. g.moro@qmul.ac.uk
